Energy Efficient Design and Construction

E. F. Wall strives to stay "ahead of the curve" of emerging construction methods and technologies. We pride ourselves especially on incorporating energy efficient design, techniques, and building components in the projects we are involved in. We have supported and participated in the development of the 2001 and 2005 Vermont Guidelines for Energy Efficient Commercial Construction and incorporate these standards in all of our Design-Build projects. On projects where we are the Construction Manager or General Contractor, we work closely with the Design team and Efficiency Vermont in analyzing building materials, systems, and techniques and in promulgating cost effective measures that yield a finished project with the best energy efficiency possible consistent with the client’s project goals. Some of these projects have received substantial monetary incentives from Efficiency Vermont for incorporating energy efficient measures. We also have the ability to provide LEED procedural and documentation services in support of projects requiring LEED certification.
